Adagio (адажио)

If you have any doubt that Garry Bardin is one of the world's best stop motion animators, all you need to do is watch the following film. The first time saw this it was featured on the YouTube main page, about a year and a half ago. It left me awe struck. I just finished remastering and uploading it to his channel in hi-def:

United State of Pop

There are two guys creating pop and R&B mashups who consistently turn out tunes that are the object of personal obsession. One is Girl Talk. The other is Earworm, who just released his year end remix of the Billboard top 25. This is his most recent work of genius:

Luv Deluxe

Leaving home and hitting the road. This music video by Saman Keshavarz is outstanding. It feels like a grown up Choose Your Own Adventure:

The Parachute Ending

This is the most mind bending music video and song combo I've come across in awhile. Will Sweeney, creator of the video, is my new hero:

Bad Romance, literally

Here's my literal video version of Lady Gaga's new hit, Bad Romance. UMG filed a copyright claim on the YouTube release and made it unavailable worldwide. I'm contesting the claim, as the video constitutes a Fair Use under parody and social commentary exemptions.

Until then, or if, here it is at Funny or Die:

Lev Myshkin's Digital Tonic

Here's my 2008 - 2009 demo reel and a preview of the videos on my YouTube channel.

This is the first time I've taken advantage of YouTube's new 1080p upload capabilities that were made available in November. The picture quality is great, but if you're on a Mac and you want HD (my Mac anyway - I do all my work on a 13 inch MacBook) the frame rate drops out the bottom and the video gets very jerky when the "HD" button is pressed.

So, if you'd like to watch this in HD on an underpowered Mac, here's a quick fix - navigate to the video main page on YouTube and add the following tag to the end of the URL, no quotes "&fmt=22". That'll load it in 720p.

Enjoy:
